Greensboro, NC: Thomas Berry Award Presentation (November 11, 2018)

The Greensboro Public Library will present its 8th Thomas Berry Award. This award recognizes an individual or organization engaged in imagining the human-Earth relationship through scholarship, writing, poetry, the arts or environmental programs. Mary Evelyn Tucker from the Forum on Religion and Ecology at Yale will give the keynote address. At the conclusion of the program, a permanent sculpture commemorating all previous recipients of the award will be dedicated.

Nominations for this year’s award are due by August 15, 2018. Submit applications to Melanie Buckingham.
